Dear Julie-Anne:

Just wanted to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the wonderful work you and your team performed for us - The Braun Procter & Gamble group on June 26 th, 2007. I had heard many good things about Cairo Drums but what we experienced did indeed well exceed my high expectations. The nature of the event itself is really enjoyable and uplifting. The fact that every one of our 60 strong group was able to participate every single minute of the entire session and in equal measure to all others was a strong positive feature of the event. What stood out for all us also was your team's approachability and friendliness, but also your very own passion and enthusiasm as you were leading us all in the session. That made each one of us give our utmost and fully participate. Indeed, enthusiasm is contagious. Finally, what I, as the leader of the group really appreciated a lot, was your expert way of injecting the messages I asked to include in the activity such that we elevate the experience from pure fun ( which it was - pure fun) to something more of a learning event.

Again many many thanks
Regards
Nabil

Cairo Drums visit to Rashid centre week of 17th June 2007

Dear Julie-Ann,

A group from Cairo Drums came to Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre in June of 2007, bringing drums for every child in the Centre. The communication that followed between the drummer-in-charge for the session and the children was on a level, and of a standard that was very impressive.
Communication is one of our prime aims, as many pupils are non-verbal, and so it was of tremendous benefit to the pupils here to use the skills aleady developed from our own interactive music therapy communication sessions, in a different context.
The children responded in a positive way to vocal, musical and rhymthic directions, and were involved throughout the session. Some of the skills we teach here in terms of listening and following instructions were incorporated. Turn taking, awareness of fast and slow, loud, quiet, start and stop, to name but a few more skills were also used.
Not only were the pupils enthralled, but the staff made very positive comments about pupil focus of attention and interaction between drummers and pupils. I have invited Cairo Drums to the Centre in the next academic year, and we all await the next session eagerly.

Dear Julie Anne,

We would like to thank you and your team for conducting a successful drumming activity during our company meeting held last December.  It was a refreshing break from the work pressure that the team was under.  It reminded us that we have to go back to the basics – that we are a unit and that together we can achieve our goals.  Even though we are a culturally diverse team, we can still achieve harmony through effective communication.

We will definitely think of you for our future team building requirements and recommend your services to others.

Wishing you and your team the best in 2007!

 Dear Julie Ann,
A simple thank you to you and your team for an extraordinary and exciting performance that you carried out for us at our recent corporate event. You sure did pull out all the stops to ensure that everyone had a great time.

This was the first time that “Drummers of the World” performed for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Cairo and I must say that it was truly fantastic. You and your team took on a huge job of getting everyone involved and it worked very well.

Thanks once again to you and your team for the fantastic evening and we are already looking forward to inviting “Drummers of the World” for our next event.

Your sincerely,
For KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Dear Julie Ann,
The Cairo Drums were a big hit at the All As One African Charity Ball on March 30, 2006! Your exciting presentation really raised the roof and got everyone moving! Thank you so much for your outstanding contribution to our successful night of fundraising. You and Cairo Drums really made all the difference in making it a memorable occasion. The spirit of fun and excitement that marked the evening can be attributed directly to your performance!

Please know that in addition to the fun and entertainment you provided, your contribution has literally helped to save many children's lives at our orphanage in Sierra Leone. Your support has made a tremendous impact on our ability to keep caring for these terrific kids. On behalf of the children, we want to extend our deepest appreciation. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

Julie Ann,
Following our Global Commercial Banking Conference I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to you and your dedicated team in making our conference come alive with 'Banging the Drum'. Our audience comprised of the Global Commercial Banking Head, Mike Smith and Co-Heads, Margaret Leung and Alan Keir, plus 60 senior Heads of Commercial Banking Managers and Support / Functional Managers from 35 countries - many of them had never been to Cairo before. Their impressions of the country, venue, and content of the programme together with the drums were extremely positive and gave a big 'Wow' factor.

Please can you pass on our thanks to your team for the session - I have already passed on my recommendations to others in the Bank.

Many thanks, once again,

Dear Julie Ann
Just wanted to say ‘thank you ever so much for the drumming session at the college. We brainstormed the next day – what did they get out of the session etc. - of course FUN was the first comment!! Otherwise they came out with all the right language for team working – great!! Apart from that, just watching the video and seeing the pure pleasure (smiles) on their faces, is enough!! It was difficult hitting them with an IELTS listening exercise after that! Wow!

Thank you again

“DUBAI DRUMS @ THE DESERT”
No one can deny how the Drums flared up the Party into lively and bubbly headed by Julie-ann from the 'Cairo Drums Team”. Every one had a chance to play which spirited the entire crowd and kept the event alive, everybody enjoyed playing, as well as the kids who danced and grooved to the beat of the drums… Excellent! Thank you!
